Fulcanelli Mystery - The Alchemist

Fulcanelli (certainly a pseudonym) is a famous and mysterious French alchemist who lived in the late 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century. His legend says that towards the end of his life he would have realized and found the secret of the Alchemy ultimate challenge by carrying out the mystery of the philosopher's stone and discovered the eternal life, indeed to control life and matter before disappearing mysteriously at the beginning of the 20th century.

Fulcanelli is the author of The Mystery of the Cathedrals and The Dwellings of the Philosophers, two of the most important esoteric works. The real identity of Fulcanelli always makes debate. The pseudonym of Fulcanelli appears to be a phonetic cabal on Vulcan-Helios or Vulcan-Hellé (The Sun's Fire). It is possible that Fulcanelli was the collective pseudonym of a group of alchemists.

Fulcanelli is mentioned in Novelist Paulo Coelho's 1993 bestseller, The Alchemist - frases de paulo coelho

Esoteric definition: obscur, secret
Esotericism definition: esoteric doctrine or principles.
Alchemy definition: pseudoscientific predecessor of chemistry
