The Twilight Saga Movies is a number of romance films that have been based on the four series of the twilight novels that were written by Stephenie Meyer, an American author. The fantasy films from Summit Entertainment have been starred by different actors and actresses and they have always become instant hit immediately after their release.
More than one billion dollars have been garnered in receipts the world over following a good reception by the public. The stars have been carefully chosen and they fit their roles exactly, just as if they were made for them. Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart have starred in the series since summit entertainment got the entire film rights.
The first of the series was named Twilight and it was released in 2008, but it was the second series: Twilight Saga; New Moon that really broke the box office records when it generated more than $ 73 million on its first day of release.
There is always a lot of hesitation in authors to sell film rights of their books to movie makers usually because movie makers have got an uncanny sense of depicting a scene as it was not intended to be depictured.
But after Meyer saw the correctness of the first series: Twilight, she was convinced to sell the remaining books to the film makers. The close adaptation of the books was guaranteed by the president of productions at Summit Entertainment.
The hunt for the right people to star in the twilight saga series was the hardest part but eventually they were all found. With slight changes to the scripts, the shooting began and it was after the release that Summit saw how eager and thirsty the global audience was for a good make believe fantasy. To date, every American knows about the Twilight Saga and has at least watched one of the series.
