About Buddy Holly Crash plane

It is unfortunate to say this, but not a lot of people have heard about Buddy Holly, much less know who he was and what he did. Basically, he is regarded as the single, most influential rock and roll musician and songwriter of all time. In fact, Elvis seems to have been influenced by Buddy Holly as well, and hundreds of bands in that era have taken a lot of inspiration from Buddy Holly. He was born in 1936 and by the time he was 20 he was already a well known star. Before his death, in 1959, he was more famous than Elvis was at the time. Unfortunately, his timely death also put a stop to his fame and over the years, most of us have forgotten Buddy Holly.

The Buddy Holly Crash plane was a very common crash that used to happen pretty often at that time because airplanes were not yet developed to be as safe as they are today. The plane that should have taken Buddy Holly and 4 of his band’s members crashed shortly after take off in the morning of the 3rd of February. Buddy Holly was married at the time of the crash and had a baby on the way.
The important things to keep in mind are those that he left behind. Some experts in the business say we wouldn’t have Rock n’ Roll as we know it today if it wasn’t for Buddy Holly. Even if he died young, he managed to do a lot for the music and even today he is much appreciated by critics, young and old.
For more than 10 years after his death the public requested new songs being released from Buddy as they knew that prior to his death, he recorded even garage jam sessions. So, for these 10 years he was actually still an active musician in the eyes of the public.
