One of the most fascinating movies that are yet to rock the movie industry this year is the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 2010. It promises to be a thrilling movie that will generate tremendous interest among all the players in the movie world. It is the fourth movie under Walt Disney Pictures that received a rating of PG-13. The concept of the movie is actually primarily based on the game that was produced in 2003. The film stars people Alfred Molina as Sheik Amar, Ben Kingsley as Nizam, and Gemma Arterton as Tamina and Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan.
The film even though based on the video game also shares some similarities with some of the other games that are in the Prince of Persia series. There is no doubt that the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 2010 would be a very interesting movie to watch.
The main part of the shooting was done in the country of Morocco and also in London. The production of the movie was planned to start in the middle part of June 2008. Thereafter actors like Gemma Arterton and Jake Gyllenhaal were cast into the lead roles. They spent a total of about eight weeks in Morocco before moving the first unit to Pinewood Studios.
The first trailer of the movie was released on the internet in the month of November, 2009. A glimpse of it would make you want to watch the movie.
