The 2008 edition featured about 37 Disney Channel stars from across the globe. They met at the Walt Disney World in Florida. This time around there was special post competition performances by a host of performers like Cheetah Girls, Jordan Pruit and Jonas Brothers. One event to savour was the Chariot of Champions. Here the four teams were made to race on chariots to a finish line.
With regards to future Disney Channel games it has been confirmed that the games will not be held in the year 2009. This was announced by their spokesperson on 4th February, 2009. However, there will be a fresh charitable innovation which will see a collaboration of Disney XD stars and Disney Channel. This decision was made because of the busy schedule of the stars who participated. This new innovation will be called the Disney’s Friends for Change.
